Our Story
Some love stories begin with a swipe…

Ours began with a little fate, a lot of blessings, and two cities quietly plotting to bring two hearts together.
Shanks was busy owning his vibrant London life; chasing big ideas, laughing the loudest in the room, and turning even the most ordinary Tuesday into a headline-worthy adventure in London. Meanwhile, Sharon was lighting up Basingstoke with her fearless, full-of-energy, unstoppable spirit.

Two different rhythms. Both electric.

Until destiny decided they weren’t just meant to cross paths - they were meant to create fireworks. One conversation became many. Many became daily check-ins.

And before long, the London–Basingstoke route turned into the highway of a blooming love story. Trains were no longer just trains. Car rides felt shorter. Late-night calls stretched longer. Countdowns to the next meeting became the sweetest part of the week.

As Sreenivasan Sir would direct, of course, in our story was a little drama; a few plot twists, some emotional scenes, and the classic long family discussions. After all, what’s a proper romance without a touch of cinematic suspense? But deep down, we always knew this story was heading for a happy ending.

Because as our beloved Tamil hero would say, “Naan oru thadava sonna, nooru thadava sonna madhiri.”
Once we decided, that was it. No turning back. And in true Bollywood fashion, we believed: “Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh poori kaynaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”
Because when love is real, the universe conspires.
With a little movie magic - full family blessings, incredible food, great music, and enough dancing to shake the stage - our journey only grew brighter. Sharon brings the adventure, the spark, the spontaneous “let’s do it!” energy. Shanks brings the calm, the steady ground, the quiet strength. Together, they balance spice with peace, chaos with comfort - turning everyday moments into something unforgettable.
And now, with all your love and blessings, we’re stepping into our next big chapter hand in hand…
Because honestly? "Picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost".
